19. December 2009 took place in our community feast day of holy patron.
19.12.2009, on the feast day of St. Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra, a miracle worker, the our holy patron's feast was held. For the celebration of a solemn liturgy had come His Eminence Theophan, archbishop of Berlin and Germany. His guests Archbishop Simeon of Vinnitsa and Mogilev-Podolsky, and Bishop Nicodemus of Vladimir-Volhynia and Kovel were celebrating with him. Bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on there pilgrimage to the relics of St. Nicholas in Bari had a stopover at the Berlin's diocese and join with us a divine service. Among our guests was also the representative of the Moscow Patriarchate to the Council of Europe Hegumen Filaret (Bulekov) from Strasbourg, clergy of the dioceses of Minsk and Berlin.
